why we do what we do

Two beliefs guide everything we do at Vector Media:

  1. Paid media is a big investment for any marketer – take care of it!
  2. You don’t need to be big to be great – either as a client or an advertiser

Vector Media is a division of NP53 Marketing Group Ltd., a professional services holding company that also owns The | Marketing | Works, a marketing strategy consultancy.

The | Marketing | Works (1992) was our start-up.  Rob Woyzbun and Veronica Engelberts were already experienced ad agency planners, account executives and media strategists.  They believed there was a gap in marketing services for clients with challenging marketing or brand objectives – but who were not a good fit for larger national or multi-national agencies.  Too small?  Too ambitious? To controversial? They wanted to fill that gap.  So they started The | Marketing | Works, a virtual marketing services agency.

As business grew through the 90’s, clients were increasing their investment in paid advertising – both large and small.  Vector Media was spun-off as a separate business unit designed to service that very specialized requirement for media planning and buying.

The Great Waterway

Laced together by the sparkling St Lawrence River, Rideau Canal, Bay of Quinte and Lake Ontario, The Great Waterway serves up all the ingredients for a perfect getaway, and features some of the Province’s most historic and beautiful destinations. Working in collaboration with CMK Tourism Marketing and Alphabet Creative, Vector Media has continued to develop and implement paid media strategy for The Great Waterway’s 2013 summer campaign. Advertising strategies targeted residents within the Great Waterway region, as well as consumers in Ottawa. Media selection included online, outdoor, radio and select print.
